SCA Agroalimentaria Virgen del Rocío

SCA Agroalimentaria Virgen del Rocío

Born in 2000 from the merger of three historic cooperatives in Almonte (two wineries and an oil mill), the Virgen del Rocío Cooperative combines tradition, sustainability and innovation.

Its growers cultivate 100% of the vines in the Doñana Biosphere Reserve, preserving a unique and protected environment.

The essence of our wines

Our products are born from traditional agriculture developed within the Doñana Biosphere Reserve, based on respect for the environment and sustainable practices:

  • Traditional cultivation and manual harvesting at the optimum moment of ripening.
  • Agriculture that contributes to climate regulation, erosion control and habitat conservation.
  • Member of the Advisory Committee of the OpenNESS project – Doñana Natural Space.

From this commitment to the land come our wines and products, made with care and authenticity: Zalema wines – including Zalema White Wine, Must and Sweet Wine – fresh and expressive, reflecting the Atlantic environment; Extra Virgin Olive Oil, produced exclusively from hand-picked and selected olives; and dark amber-colored vinegars with a vintage aroma, ideal for enhancing sauces, dressings and salads.

To consume our products is to actively contribute to the protection of Doñana and the maintenance of traditional agriculture.
